Deeper Devotion's vision is to come alongside as you engage deeply with God in ways appropriate to the unique person you are. I give priority to becoming rooted in God's love and grace which overflows into a vital prayer life and growth toward Christlikeness.
My journey involved diverse global experience before I settled in The Netherlands. My first Masters degree was in Piano Performance an Pedagogy, and my experience as an educator and musician influence my work current work as I inspire toward living in worshipful devotion. My work as a performer and student worker, in addition to years of training leaders of European churches, has enriched my work with people from around the world.
A longtime leader within Crossroads International Church of Amsterdam, I have given leadership to ministries of worship, creative arts, women and faith formation. I am currently active in developing and teaching courses in the area of spirituality for both young and mature Christians. I also participate in the Crossroads teaching team and preach several times a year.
I've been joyfully married to Gérard de Smaele since 1998. We enjoy active vacations out in nature, and our favourite destinations are Canada and Sweden. My greatest source of joy is sharing heart-to-heart with people and, above all, with God. Read my spiritual story.
